Have you ever felt like you were in a car with someone and everything went fine, then you guys get into a fight, they pulled over, opened up your door and kicked you out? And when you fell out, you fell face first in a pile of mud, and when you turned over your shoulder everyone was laughing at you? Humiliation was the door, and the person that humiliated you was the key. They were on the drivers side, and were in control. That’s how I feel humiliated, ashamed, heartbroken, sad, weary, vulnerable, and anything else that are synonyms for those words. People thought we weren’t going to make it, people were jealous of us, and I wanted to prove them all wrong.
